I have a giveaway of Zemana AntiMalware Premium that I obtained via Softpedia on New Year's Eve. I am wanting to run my first on-demand scan with it. I wonder, does ZAM Premium allow the user to decide what to do with the detections? If it does indeed quarantine the false positives, will they restore good as new out of the quarantine? (I have not found that to be the case with some security programs.)

I have tried every means I know to find out whether I can update to the latest version of...

Could Zemana AntiMalware be disabling my defender

Since installing Zemana Antimalware and turning on real-time protection Ive noticed a few times that defender isn't running when I startup my computer. If I turn off the realtime protection in Zemana the next time I boot up it seems to come back.

There seems nothing in the event log to say defender failed on startup, and if I run it manually (i.e. click on the icon in the Windows System folder) it seems to run fine.

Has anyone encountered these issues before?

Also which do people think is...

Can't install latest portable version of Zemana

I was setting-up my sister's laptop after clean installing Windows 10 Creators update. I had installed 360 TSE on it and thought i should install a 2nd opinion scanner on it. So I Googled for zemana and downloaded the latest portable version on her laptop. On double clicking the installer, i got an error message from installer that it couldn't install (i don't know why it's installing a "portable version" anyway) because it might be blocked by HIPS/AV. So i disabled 360 TSE but nothing changed....

Hi Guys,

Longtime Zemana supporter here. (Paid, 3 year, 15 licenses)

We've noticed lately, detections have been very poor. While I realize this is subjective and based entirely on our experience and I may get savaged for this. In the past when we isolated a newer threat, Zemana almost universally flagged it but these days this is very rare for us.

For example today I took some of our threats collected last week and scanned them with Zemana and it showed no threats. Yet all of these are...

I had enrolled in zemana beta program long a go
Had joined as a beta tester in their Google group

I received a license for Zemana mobile antivirus

Then i mailed them that i did not receive it for Zemana Anti-Malware

Then They provided me with a license of zemana Anti-Logger instead

I just wanted to know if i got something better or worst?

Here's something interesting people may want to test for themselves regarding Zemana.

Install Zemana on a machine, then register for a (free) Screen Connect/Connectwise account. Go to the 'access' tab and build an executable for perpetual remote access. Download and run this on a machine with Zemana installed and then wait a couple of hours.

Eventually, external connections to your Screen Connect account will show up. The reason is 'something' is executing the exact file you built for...

Well, today I got a notfication saying zemana premuim has 7 more days for its trial and after that my computer wont be protected.
I know the portable version is free, but what are the diffrences?

My main AV is Avira but I am using Zemana as On-demand Scanner.
I am thinking to install Zemana AntiLogger and activate only this (together with Avira),
while having Zemana Real Time Protection off.

Do you think it is a good Idea or it is unnecessary?

Zemana Antilogger's injected dll causes persistent explorer.exe CPU usage

today, I had a bit of free time and I monitored my CPU usage
I noticed that explorer.exe CPU usage rarely stayed at 0%. It constantly varied between 0.1-1% while I was doing nothing for several minutes

I used Process Explorer to find the culprit and I could see that zemana antilogger caused it
Zemana antilogger injected a few .dll files to explorer.exe

I disabled ID thief protection
